April 12th saw Belong London members and supporters take part in a sponsored 5k run, raising £685 so far. Donations are still coming in, so please consider making a donation to support the event.

The Belong London March 2012 Running Team

Six of our supporters ran 10k in Richmond on March 24th 2012 in order to raise money to help us continue our work. They had a great deal of fun and raised £1400! Volunteer mentor training

A team of volunteer mentors with Belong London’s manager at the end of the March 2012 training course

We are now accepting applications from those who would like to take part in our next training course for volunteer mentors which will take place in June 2012. Topics covered will include: promoting choice and self awareness in young people, reflective practice, confidentiality, anger and aggression, substance misuse, the youth justice system, mental health problems and learning disabilities. New restorative justice project

Belong London’s manager and a volunteer mentor after facilitating a restorative intervention

In June 2012 Belong London is launching a Restorative Justice Project in Croydon. This will enable victims of low level crime and anti social behaviour to communicate with harmers in order to resolve the harm caused by low level crime and anti social behaviour. Please contact us if you are an agency or member of the community in Croydon who would like to refer a case to the project or find out more about it
